A first time for everything

I don't know when it started, but suddenly I was no longer reading the daily newspaper. I guess growing up in New York City spoiled me --so many choices, so much quality. since I no longer watch the nightly news on TV without the internet, I probably -except for ESPN - would be completely cut off from current events. I'm surprised I can't remember when I started reading blogs and even more surprised that this is the first time that I've taken a hand (an actual left hand since I'm using my trusty Toshiba Tablet PC) at writing a blog. Now that I see it's this easy, I will be back. Heck, maybe I'll even post some short stories for the public's consumption.
